I have no idea what breed this guy is. I think he's an Araucana (Easter Egg Chicken). This is a breed that lays different colored eggs. Unfortunately he's a rooster so I'll never know. He was a free gift when we ordered our Australorp and Red Star chickens. He's a big rooster (Cock, Cockeral) and very cocky. Now you know where the term "cocky" comes from. |
